
There are three options on the Scenario 360 toolbar to create a new analysis A Scenario 360 analysis is a means of evaluating an issue or opportunity, including alternative approaches ("scenarios"), community input, outcome analysis, and decisions. In Scenario 360, an analysis provides the overall framework for a project. It includes all of the map data, scenarios, calculations, and indicators for the various alternatives you may consider when evaluating an issue or opportunity.:
OPTION
1: Click the Start a Scenario
360 analysis toolbar button
, then select Create
New Analysis.
OPTION 2: Click the Scenario 360 toolbar menu, click Start, then select Create New Analysis.
OPTION 3: Click the Scenario 360 toolbar menu, click Analysis, then click New.
If you have an existing analysis open, you will be prompted to save or discard any changes to that analysis before creating your new analysis.
When creating a new analysis, you will be given the option to select a projection/coordinate system. Once selected this will be the projection for the entire analysis.
You will also be asked what type of geodatabase An object-oriented geographic database that provides services for managing geographic data. These services include validation rules, relationships, and topological associations. A geodatabase contains feature datasets and is hosted inside of a relational database management system. (See also: personal geodatabase). you want to use for the analysis. If in doubt, use the default of “File Geodatabase.” You can learn more geodatabase formats here.
