About analysis templates

Templates allow you to save analysis component properties, relationships between components, and formulas so that they can be used with other data or shared with other users.

Saving an analysis template

You can save an analysis as a template with some or all of the component relationships by clicking the Scenario 360 toolbar menu, pointing to Analysis, then clicking Save Template.  Templates will be saved in the CVFiles\Templates directory.

When saving a template, you will be prompted to select the components you wish to save in the template.  Click on or off components listed in the Tree, Category, or Diagram view. Components displayed with an X are those you did not choose to save with the template.  For detailed instruction on saving templates, see Saving an analysis template.

Loading an analysis template

You can load a saved analysis template with some or all of the component relationships saved in that template by clicking the Scenario 360 toolbar menu, pointing to Analysis, then clicking Load Template.  When loading a saved analysis template, Scenario 360 will prompt you to select the components and align them with the new or existing data.  Use the Auto Align option to have the program select the closest existing data information in an existing analysis for you.  Components displayed with an X are those you did not choose to save with the template.  For detailed instruction on loading templates, see Loading analysis templates.
