
View the name and description of an attribute 1. A piece of information describing a map feature. The attributes of a census tract, for example, might include its area, population, and average per capita income. 2. A characteristic of a geographic feature described by numbers, characters, images, and CAD drawings, typically stored in tabular format and linked to the feature by a user-assigned identifier. For example, the attributes of a well might include depth and gallons per minute. 3. A column in a table. using the 360 Setup tab. Access attribute properties from the Work Flow, Tree, or Category view. The instructions below describe viewing the properties of a dynamic attribute. Viewing the properties of an attribute from
the Work Flow view
Open the 360 Setup tab Work Flow view.
Click once on Dynamic
Attributes
.
Click once on the attribute name you wish to view
and click the Properties button
or double-click the attribute name.
Viewing the properties of an attribute from
the Tree view
Open the 360 Setup tab Tree view.
Click the + next to the Attributes folder to expand the folder.
Click the + next to the data layer containing the attribute to expand the folder.
If the attribute has been assigned to a category, click the + next to the category folder to expand that folder.
Double-click on the attribute name you wish to view OR right-click on the attribute and click Properties on the pop-up menu.

Open the 360 Setup tab Category view.
Click the + next to the category folder containing that attribute to expand that folder.
Click the + next to the Attributes folder to expand the folder.
Click the + next to the data layer containing the attribute to expand the folder.
Double-click on the attribute name you wish to view OR right-click on the attribute and click Properties on the pop-up menu.
