The Scenario 360 ArcScene toolbar

Scenario 360 setup functions, the 360 Setup tab, and the 360 Analysis tab are not present in ArcScene.  Analysis functions, however, are available via the Scenario 360 toolbar for ArcScene.  Use the Active Scenario drop-down list to choose the scenario you want to view.

Open Analysis - Open an existing Scenario 360 analysis.  To create a new analysis, use Scenario 360 from ArcMap.

 

Refresh Analysis - Update and refresh your analysis, capturing any recent changes that may have been made in ArcMap.

 

Data Dynamic Updates

Choose to update dynamic attribute values automatically or manually.  For more information, see: Setting dynamic updates to run automatically or manually.

 

Data Update Analysis

Rerun all formulas on selected layers in the analysis.  For more information, see: Dynamic update options.

 

View Assumptions

Open assumption slider bars.

 

View Indicators

Open the indicator information screen to view all indicators in an analysis.

 

View Charts

Open the charts view.

 

View Diagram

Display a diagram of the analysis showing connections and  relationships between components.

 

View Saved Views

Open a previously saved view or save a new view.

 

View Reports

Open a previously created report or create a new report.

 

View View in ArcMap

Switch from ArcScene to ArcMap.  If ArcMap is not already open, this choice opens ArcMap in a new window.

 

Alerts Suspend Alerts

Suspend or resume automatic alert An alert may be associated with an assumption, a dynamic attribute, or an indicator. An alert is used to monitor values during analysis and report if specific conditions occur. Alerts may be displayed as a chart with (colored) target bars, an alert message, or as feature selections on a map. checking.  When alerts are suspended, no alert reports will be displayed on charts, maps, or assumptions.

 

Alerts Run All

Provides on-demand evaluation of all alerts defined for this analysis.  Often used when alerts are in suspend mode.  All alerted results will be displayed on charts, maps, and assumptions.

 

Alerts Clear All

Clear all alert displays from charts, maps, and assumptions.

 

Alerts Alerts

List all alerts defined for this analysis. Select alerts to be displayed on maps, charts, and assumptions.

 

Tools Scene Setup - Set the base height layer for the scene.  Once you have chosen this layer, on which the scene’s terrain will be based, the other layers you have set up will be automatically imported.  For more information, see Opening a Scenario 360 Analysis in ArcScene.

 

Tools 3D Symbology Wizard - Specify the 3D models used to represent features in the 3D scene, and assign their properties.  Use this Wizard to take advantage of the 3D models you have assigned to buildings created by the Visual step of the Build-Out Wizard, or any other time you want to use 3D models from the CommunityViz Model Library or other external source.

 

Tip:  You can customize which buttons appear on the Scenario 360 ArcScene toolbar.  For example, you may want to place the View in ArcMap icon on your toolbar.  For instructions on customizing Scenario 360 toolbars, see Customizing Scenario 360 toolbars.
